Why Mashe?

Mashe is the initials of each of my five kids’ names. I started quilting in 2009 and like most quilters, I love fabric. A lack of modern fabrics in my area led me to start Mashe Modern in 2016. I love picking out modern fabric with bright, saturated colors and providing them online for a great price. I pride myself in fast shipping and excellent customer service.

In 2022, we opened our storefront in Dallas Center, Iowa. In addition to our signature style of modern fabric, we have notions, gifts, bag making supplies, and edge to edge longarm quilting.
