Immersive paintings to shake off the dust of daily life

For me, art is a vacation for the mind. Not an escape from reality necessarily, but a trip to somewhere new and unknown, often beautiful. As Pablo Picasso said, "El arte sacude del alma el polvo de la vida cotidiana." This translates to: "Art shakes from the soul the dust of daily life."

We take trips to engage our senses and prime ourselves for discovery. Owning an original work of art provides the same experience--one that we can revisit as often as we find that our souls need a good dusting.

Painting takes me on a trip of self-discovery, and I hope that my paintings take viewers on an enriching journey of their own.
