I use quality hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel ear posts with most of my designs. These posts are usually suitable for people with sensitive ears.

Sometimes I also use gold/silver plated posts depending on the style and size of the earrings. They are all made from quality nickel-free plated brass or steel. The clip-on backs that I use are also plated and nickel-free. I will always list what type of backings I have used on the individual item listing for your information.

I also use Sterling silver posts, hoops and ear hooks for certain earring styles, particularly my ecoresin designs.

I primarily use a very strong, durable jewellery glue to adhere my earring posts to my designs.

My resin designs are all hand poured and painstakingly finished by me using various processes. My multilayered brooches are made from different layers of poured resin to create the final product. Some brooches can take days to complete as a result, such as The Birdee brooch.

I design and create the majority of my moulds myself from polymer clay and silicone. I also use classic jewellery moulds for many of my earrings, rings and bangles however I like to come up with my own unique designs.

Sustainability is very important to me. So how is plastic sustainable? In my case it’s all about quality over quantity. When I make a piece, it’s with MY own two hands and nothing is mass produced. I present my pieces on sustainable product packaging (often made from recycled materials) that is also biodegradable.

The plastic components of my jewellery are made in small batches and I also use eco resin for most resin pieces. Soon I will be using eco glitter (made from plant materials) and often I feature accessories made from repurposed and natural materials. Creating quality jewellery avoids landfill and makes the earth happy.

I make my pieces to literally be wearable art, an investment piece for you to enjoy for years to come. 💖
