The results are officially in, and boy, are they good!
A while back, the Etsy EarthPath Artisans Team contacted the Etsy Labs asking if we would do the honor of judging their street team’s latest design challenge. We were more than happy to judge, and even happier to see the entries!
Here’s the deal with the contest:
The EarthPath Artisans came up with a team challenge on their own called The Autumn Colors & Falling Leaves Design Challenge! The rules were to make an item fitting the following requirements:
- Autumn colors & falling leaves
- General fall-related items,
- The holidays like Halloween/Samhain or Thanksgiving.
Submissions were due to be posted on the team Flickr page by October 15th. Search with the "AutumnEast" tag to find Challenge entries.
And the winner’s are:
- First place: funkydevas’ Earthy Delight
- Second place: ravenshold’s Falling leaves tooled leather journal
- Third place: rachealanilyse’s Autumn Original Drawing and Painting
- Fourth Place: AzureFire’s Halloween Wreath
Congrats to all the members that participated! It was a really tough call on our part…as you can see, we couldn’t even narrow the votes down to three! You can take a look at all of the team members right here. And here’s a tip: several of the team shops are also running a concurrent sale offering 10% off or free shipping on some items, so hurry and check em out while the discounts a’running!

Good job, all! It was a fun and challenging creative exercise. The removable bracelet / 2nd strand on my entry gives me lots more idea for the future. Thanks for the coverage, EtsyLabs and EtsyAdmin. It had to be a tough decision; there were so many excellent entries! Looking forward to the next Challenge :)
