Looking for the latest in anthropomorphic fashions? Zach and Jen are this week’s Fresh Shop and the dynamic duo behind monsterhoodies! I got a chance to ask them about their new shop and the wild hoodies they have in it.
How did you come up with the idea?
Well, we came up with the idea after seeing a fashion show with a hideous hoodie looking thing and I said, "It looks like a monster is eating her head." Then Jen and I started talking about how cool it would be if someone made a hoodie with that in mind. Later that week we decided we could do it ourselves, and made them. At first they were just for us, but all our friends were asking about them and if we could make them one. There was so much interest, we decided it would be cool and fun to sell them. We consider it our vacation fund.
What kind of reactions have you gotten?
We’ve had a lot of good reactions. Lots of people want to take pictures, and one time a guy came up to me and said "No offense, your hoodie is awesome and all, but where can I get one for my kid?" I laughed and smiled. Lots of people have asked for kid’s versions, and its something we’re working on in our super-secret lab.
Check out monsterhoodies! Cute gear for cute folks.

I think a pink one of these would compliment my electric blue umbrella (that has red flashing LED's!) :D
