This is the way it starts, folks! One 'post' at a time, one donation at a time, one buyer at a time....over a relatively short period of time....WE'VE MADE A DIFFERENCE! The lives of two very young grieving boys have been altered forever with the loss of their mother. We CARED about that. We evaluated a need and acted PROMPTLY to help in our own way. My thanks to those who organized this and kept track of all the varied and confusing statistics through all the days and nights of the 'For Dawn's Boys' campaign. I did not know Dawn but after spending so many hours on the thread that was dedicated to the fund for the boys I feel like she was a friend..my heart goes out to her boys and hope that the help that the etsy community was able to give and continue to give helps in a small way! utterly devastating. i am so glad you put this on the front page or i might not have known to help. i have just listed an item which will be a 100% donation to these dear boys whose lives are forever changed. my heart is breaking for them. i am so proud of all the Etsians who have reached out to help in the only way they can. xo
