Our friends over at BurdaStyle (the online community for open-source sewing patterns) recently put up an absolutely charming (and easy) how-to. Learn how to make beautiful and simple ribbon or fabric flowers! Make a bunch and have lovely flowers that bloom on and on! As always, all projects and patterns on the site are copyright free, so you can sell what you make from them. This is a perfect project for Valentine’s Day or a wedding in need of some handmade touches.
For full instructions with helpful photos, visit the How-to on BurdaStyle!
All you need for materials is…
Ribbon or fabric strips, embroidery needle, thread. Optional: wire and floral tape.
So easy! Sooo cute!

I love these. I went to a wedding back in the 80's, where they handed these out with bird seed in them. We all tossed the seed at the bride and groom and got to keep the flowers. I'd almost forgotten about these. Thanks!
