There’s a good chance you’ve been enjoying Amy Butler’s designs for quite a while now. A quick search of “Amy Butler” here on Etsy yields 460 pages of items made from her fabric designs alone!

As a multifaceted designer of fabric, home, fashion and print, Amy is known for her modern approach to botanical, geometric and romantic inspirations. With spirited color and a confident combination of prints, Amy has created a freshened view of the many product categories she now designs for, including bedding, bath, fabric, sewing patterns, stationery, craft papers, handbags, dinnerware, home décor, and design and project books. Designed from her studio in America’s Midwest and sold worldwide, Amy’s lines are known for quality, creativity, sustainability and great style. This week the designer puts on her curatorial hat and chooses some of her favorite garden-inspired pieces on Etsy. Please welcome this week’s Guest Curator, Amy Butler!
 
Nature is my never-ending resource for color and design inspiration. My garden is one of my favorite places to spend time — early spring through late fall. I’m a plant collector and I love the intricate designs in flowers and foliage as well as the amazing color combinations. It was great seeing how the garden inspires Etsy sewers and crafters, too!
