Can I get real for a moment? You see, I can wax poetic about the merits of convertible cruising under a cloudless sky, the radiance of a razor sharp icicle and the first toe-curlingly fragrant whiff of fresh-cut lilacs in spring, but I must be frank: fall is the season for which I live. It is the apple cider in my mug, the pile of leaves in which I roll (ticks be damned), and celebrated annually with a rapt viewing of Rushmore while wearing a jaunty beret, à la Max Fischer.
