Have you ever had weird dreams so real that you thought you were in another world? If there’s one word that aptly describes Alice in Wonderland, it has to be “imagination.” Whether you spent your childhood making up new vocabulary (just for fun) or had tea parties with your favorite dolls and stuffed animals, Alice reminds us of youthful whimsy and dreams of the fantastical. With Tim Burton‘s new twist on the extension of the storyline, who can’t be helped to a little madness, really? Bring out the broken umbrellas, the chipped teacups and torn lace. These Alice-inspired finds will be sure to bring a Cheshire Cat’s smile to your face.

Eating goodies from this Alice in Wonderland Cake Box by Middleburg may or may not make you grow, while if you shrink the tiny keys on these Wonderland Door Knob and Key Earrings by MichellesCharmWorld will help you find your way. Hang up the whimsical I’m Late, Alice in Wonderland White Rabbit print by darklingwoods or use this Alice in Wonderland and the Cheshire Cat Doll Set by cartbeforethehorse to remind you of Alice’s adventures. Finally, never forget the incident with the Mad Hatter and let this Alice in Wonderland Tea Cup Necklace by LoveYourBling remind you that life is a little more fun with some crazy thrown in.

I adore Alice in Wonderland, it has inspired so much of my art and writing. I have an ancient, battered copy of the book, the same one my mum used to read to me from. It would be worth nothing at all if I wanted to sell it, but it's one of my most prized possessions.

...and I'd like to add to my comment above (I'm also VintageHoneysuckle)... that I have an Alice in Wonderland book from my childhood with lots of colorful illustrations that I always loved and was afraid of at the same time. Awesome. I am a big Alice fan. I actually have a half sleeve and a the start of a backpiece tattoo that is all Alice inspired. I'm excited that the movie means a renewed lot of swag is available. :) My copies of the books (there are 2) are quite old but I've also got newer editions like the one illustrated by Ralph Steadman. I'm off to check out all the Alice stuff on here now! :) PS It's twinkle twinkle little bat, not rat. ;) Here's the poem: Twinkle, twinkle, little bat! How I wonder where you're at! Up above the world you fly, Like a teatray in the sky. Twinkle, twinkle little bat! How I wonder where you're at!
