Etsy Statistics: June 2010 Weather Report

We’d like to share some information about the marketplace from the past month. As you check out the numbers, bear in mind that June was one day shorter than May, 2010.

The stats:

  • $22.1 million of goods were sold by our community in June, 3.5% lower than May’s $22.9 million.
  • That represents 1,213,513 items sold for the month, 3.5% lower than May’s 1,258,023.
  • 1,811,258 new items were listed in the month, 4.5% lower than May’s 1,895,943.
  • 233,167 new members joined the Etsy community in the month, down 6,173, or 2.6%, from May.
  • 687,219,615 page views were recorded on the site in June.

The $22.1 million of goods sold by the community represents a 71% increase from 2009′s total. At the same time, items sold were up 54%.
