Etsy Statistics: May 2010 Weather Report

May was another month of fresh growth for the Etsy community and marketplace.

The Stats:

  • $22.9 million of goods were sold by our community in May, 2.2% higher than April’s $22.4 million.
  • That represents 1,258,023 items sold for the month, 1.3% higher than April’s 1,241,525.
  • 1,895,943 new items were listed in the month, 2.9% higher than April’s 1,842,147.
  • 239,340 new members joined the Etsy community in the month, up 3,300, or 1.4% from April.
  • 694,208,306 page views were recorded on the site in May.

The $22.9 million of goods sold by the community represents a 72% increase from 2009′s total. At the same time, items sold were up 54%.
