Hello, Georgia peaches! I will be visiting Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia, May 4 – 7, 2010. Along with Faythe Levine of Handmade Nation, I’ll be presenting at the Savannah College of Art and Design for their SCAD Style series. All these events, which focus on fashion and design, are free and open to the public.

I am a SCAD fibers student, also an Etsy shop owner, and you're holding the Handmade Nation screening in our building, so I'm going to try my best to be there! :) We've been hearing about it for a few weeks, and I immediately associated it with Etsy- was surprised no one at SCAD mentioned that.

In Georgia, but too far south to make it! Lived in Atlanta most of my adult life. Unbelievable market "Dekalb Farmers Market" food items from every corner of the globe. From spices, live fish, cheese, produce, ostrich, buffalo, every thing you can imagine....unbelievable! Also love the Historic District in Savannah! Ah yes, I love Georgia!
