Handmade Weddings: Vintage Wedding Decor With Grey Likes

As a stylist, one of my favorite ways to add character to a scene is by adding vintage items. For a wedding, you don’t have to blow your entire budget on purchasing only old-time pieces, but rather look for a handful of items that really stand out. You can incorporate these unique finds into the decor of your wedding for an instant dose of personality and charm. It doesn’t take much to infuse your wedding with a little vintage flair!

These inspiration images are from a photography workshop I styled in Orange County. Along with Megan Gonzalez from MaeMae Paperie and florist Lauryl Lane, I put together a pretty table full of vintage finds, including mix-and-match vessels for flowers, such as milk glass vases, pitchers, gravy boats and an old silver tea set.

I used items like vintage books, an old family scale, and an antique suitcase to prop up some of our floral arrangements, just like the Vintage Sunshine Suitcase from CheekyVintageCloset.

We created a DIY bar, and I loved how our vintage decanters added to the flair of our theme. I think that these Price Display Stands from Old Ohio Farm Finds would be a really fun way to number your tables in a creative fashion! Don’t forget that little touches like vintage hankies and a vintage camera can add a little something to your wedding decor as well as your own home!
