Meet Up With Etsy: Renegade Los Angeles and San Francisco

Etsy sellers will be bringing the handmade party to Renegade Los Angeles (July 24 – 25 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, a.k.a. the Cornfield) and San Francisco (July 31 – August 1 at the Fort Mason Center Festival Pavilion).

While Etsy Admin are in town for these two craft fairs, we’ll be hosting two meet ups with sellers, shoppers, and friends. In Los Angeles, we’ll update you on Etsy’s latest plans, answer any questions, and chill with you poolside. In San Francisco, we’re hosting a special panel focusing on indie business at the Museum of Craft and Folk Art. Our very own daniellexo will be presenting, alongside an artist from the MOCFA shop, and a few local artists, business owners and superstars.

Please feel free to bring along something you made to either of these meet ups, because we’d love to add some photos to our Flickr stream!

San Francisco Etsy Success Panel Discussion: Friday, July 30, 7 – 9 p.m. PT (Online preview at 5 p.m. PT in the Virtual Labs)

Join us for a discussion about running creative, independent businesses with Lisa Congdon, artist and co-owner of Rare Device, Yueh-Wen from Sora Designs, Danielle Maveal, Etsy’s Seller Education Coordinator, and other special guests, followed by a meet-and-greet with fellow Etsy friends and fans.

    Sounds awesome! I might venture to SF. From Chico it's not too terribly far, (unless, of course, you're traveling with a 3 y.o.) just to shop and check it out for selling there next year. My stuff may be a little too fru-fru for the more modern-retro look of the Renegade Fairs.
