Looking for some summer savings? Many Etsy shops are coming together to host a community event — the third annual Christmas in July Sale. You’ll find shops offering free shipping, discounted prices, and buy-one-get-one promotions across most of Etsy’s categories. This sale lasts from July 15 through July 25, 2010.
How to shop the sale:
- Search the key tags on site for the sale: christmasinjuly or cij to find participating shop owners.
- Search Etsy’s Treasuries for curated sale content by using the terms christmasinjuly or cij.
- Browse through this forum thread where sellers announce their limited time promotions.
- Be sure to check out each shop’s announcements and item descriptions to learn more about individual promotions.
Please note that eligible items are not just traditional holiday fare, so stock up now on gifts and savings!

T'was the night before tomorrow, and all through an Etsy shop... most sensible creatures were NOT stirring, <----except Fred, with a wreath-decked top! My flip-flops were on fire in the outdoor barbeque... Fred has a way of "rise & shine"... I'm going to paint him Prussian blue. He put tinsel in the toilet he hid my hairbrush in a tree! *if I ever catch my dear, sweet Fred, he'll hear some poetry. He chattered this, and chittered that as he strung 5,000 lights... he flipped a switch and blew the grid, while waving lime green tights. The Officer was very nice, as he eyed my Sugarplum Shed...
