Many artists require the sort of inspiration that only a muse can provide. In the case of Anne Burton, that muse is Bean, her adorable, photogenic and blissfully patient Boston Terrier. Their artistic collaboration began during a frigid Midwestern winter; Anne crocheted sweaters for Bean so that he could enjoy playing outside, despite the cold. Soon friends and family were asking for colorful sweaters, hats and bow ties for their own stylish pets. The result is Beantown Handmade.
Anthony Ladesich is a two-time Emmy award winning filmmaker from Kansas City, MO. He has worked professionally in the Midwest for over 10 years as a director, cinematographer, editor, and writer.

We have a very large dog - a Norwegian Elkhound - and she will not wear clothes (nor does she need them to stay warm), but I would like to sit her down to watch this video so that she can see what it is to be well-mannered and cooperative (read: not surly) pooch. I have told her, my "models" are more suited for YouTube than still pictures =:o !! With my Shaggy crew, a film would come out looking more like a cross between an episode of "Animal Hoarders" and a Benny Hill movie (picture it now, sped up film, 7 dogs running in and out doors, me chasing them with sweaters in hand.....!) Oh my I was laughing so hard I woke Jake up from his nap. Bean is so sweet very regal he looks like he should wear a top hat and tails for dinner and eat out of a crystal bowl, I love your shop the hats are precious. I have made Jake hats I know we must look hilarious Jake in a sweater and hat walking with a big German Shepherd we live in horse country!!! If I did a film it would be like ShaggyChic's as my daughters 4 dogs would be a part of it. Watching the video made my day. Love your shop too ShaggyChic.
