‘Tis the season to make and be merry. Join in the festivities with Etsy fans across the globe next week. Craft Nights will be happening in Brooklyn, New York and across the seas in three Australian cities: Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. Come on by and flex your creative muscles at any of these free events while we celebrate the season together, art supplies in hand. Read on for all the tidbits.

 

Brooklyn: Pop-Up Card Ornaments Craft Night

Join Esther K. Smith for a festive evening of making cards that transform into ornaments and back again, with pop-up and collage elements. Esther K. Smith is the author of titles including How to Make Books and Magic Books & Paper Toys, and one half of Purgatory Pie Press, a dynamic bookbinding and letterpress printing duo who use only real wood and metal movable type in their print shop, old school style.

Please bring old school pictures or snapshots to cut up, and a bone folder, if you have one. We’ll also have spare materials on hand. This Craft Night is open to makers of all skill levels.
