Congratulations to last month’s Team Grant winners! Here’s a summary of what these teams are working hard to make happen:
The Crochet Dreamers are creating a banner for the team to carry in the 2011 Relay for Life which raises money for the American Cancer Society. Boston Etsy will be setting up shop in the SoWa Open Market every Sunday this May through October and are using the grant funding to create promos and decorate the team’s space. The Wisconsin Craft Explorers are reserving team booth space at two local upcoming craft fairs. The Etsy Wedding Team is making informational postcards for members to hand out along with sold items.
The Central IL Etsians are putting down a location deposit on a building in which they will be hosting a craft show April 30, while the Handmade Hustlers (Team Reno) are planning their second team craft fair, Indie Reno, to be held on May 1. The Treasury Friends Team is orchestrating a charity giveaway to raise money for the Red Cross disaster relief program in Japan.
Etsy Team Grants are awarded on a monthly basis to provide creative, energetic and dedicated teams with financial assistance. The money can be used to subsidize team advertising, fund participation in events, host promotions or as a meeting stipend. Our goal is to have teams be successful and spread the Etsy love. We want to hear your exciting ideas and then help you make them happen! Read more about the Team Grants Program or fill out an application.
