This weekend’s Get the Look Decor is inspired by the Lebanon, Connecticut farm town cottage of Amanda Wytas-Ackerman. She lives with her husband Rob along with their three children and the newest member of the family Buster, the bull mastiff pup.
Amanda describes her approach to decorating as restyled vintage and says her main goal is to repurpose her antique finds to expose their beauty in a unique and modern way. Between shuffling furniture around, raising three children and frequenting local auctions, flea markets, thrift stores, and Etsy, their home is always evolving in ways that best suit their family life.

Reminds me of being at my grandma's kitchen table with her pouring fresh cream (from the jersey cow they had) and sugar on the blackberries I'd just picked in the pasture. Just add the smell of biscuits from the oven and it's complete. Great finds and beautiful colors!

This reminds me of my grandmother's house in Georgia. It has a very southern America feel to it. I just recently found an old vintage rake head at a little store in Pine Mountain, Georgia (which is a great small town if anyone ever has a chance to make it down there). It is perfect for hanging jewelry one.
