ChristineThis weekend’s Get the Look Decor is inspired by the home of Etsy shop owner Kay of kaylovesvintage. She lives in a vintage filled home with her husband, 11-year-old daughter Nila and 4 cats in the Netherlands in a small town just south of Amsterdam.

Since beginning her vintage business about 5 years ago, collecting mostly pieces from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s, Kay’s home has undergone a complete transformation. She says before becoming a collector, her home’s aesthetic was sleek and modern, but a cozy vintage style soon won their hearts and slowly began to replace their high-end designer furniture.

Kay travels throughout Europe collecting vintage decor at flea markets, charity shops and yard sales and admits to rearranging the furniture as often as every few weeks. She says a new flea market find can inspire a total room makeover and loves to combine beautiful vintage finds from many different time periods.
