Handmade Code is our series showcasing useful new apps made by Etsy’s developer community. Today, Josh Avnery tells us about the Etsy Email App for WiseStamp.

Many Etsy sellers are always on the lookout for better ways to promote their shops and bring their listings to the attention of buyers. If you’ve worked hard to create a great listing, why should it be such a challenge to market it? This is why we created the Etsy Email App for WiseStamp.

With our app you can easily create your own branded email signature, linking to your Etsy shop. It even updates automatically to show your latest listing. Every email you send will allow the recipient to buy or learn more about your listing from inside the email itself. You can send emails as you always do, and the Etsy Email App will promote your Etsy shop and listings for you.

Setup takes about two minutes. Download the app and click the “Install” button. Then, enter your Etsy username. Once you’ve set up your Etsy signature, you can add your additional contact info and social profiles. Your signature will automatically be inserted into popular webmail clients, such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo!, AOL and more.

The Etsy Email App is free, and over 200,000 people use WiseStamp every day. More than 200 million emails have been sent by WiseStamp users. If you have any technical issues, our help center can help you resolve them.
