Largely focusing on handmade & independent artists, Melissa de la Fuente has a blog called Melissa Loves where she shares all the beautiful things she finds along the way. She lives in New Jersey with her husband/best friend, two sweet girls and two furry gals; having fun and enjoying life. 

Etsy is like manna from heaven. Having seen so many beautiful things, met so many amazing artists and continuing to be inspired by all the talent out there, I am honored and happy to share some of my recent favorites.

6. Such a beautiful shape; reminding me of scales and the ocean (which I adore). The gold is so delicate and pretty: Mermaid Necklace by Whyzee.

1. A beautiful scarf; dark, mysterious and so flattering. And the very fresh pattern will always be current: Galaxy Scarf from hoakonhelga.
2. Still so in love with these unique and handsome paper straw mobiles. It would add such depth and character to any room: Himmeli No. 8 from AMradio.
3. Gorgeous, no? This unusually beautiful ring looks like it was made during the Victorian era. Symbolic of two sides of the same coin: Rose Gold Twin Sparrow Claw Ring from BloodMilk.
4. Still madly in love with the hand-painted tops from xsilk. Unique, gorgeous colors and patterns reminiscent of strands of jewels: Indigo Ikat Top by xsilk.
5.  Sigh! This bag is a crowd pleaser, no? I adore this pattern and the beautiful pops of color in the attatchments. This one was so popular that this pattern is almost gone but Stephany says she has enough material to make 3 more:  Muriel bag by arebycdesign.

1. I am a sucker for rings, as anyone who knows me will tell you. This one has such a beautiful stone and such a simple and lovely setting. Truly special: Rainbow Moonstone Ring by Christine Mighion.
2. These rough diamond studs are the perfect lovely and sparkly everyday pair: Rough Diamond Studs by Lex Luxe.
3. This beautiful clay magnolia looks like the real thing and would be so beautiful hanging on the wall in a special spot: Magnolia from HouseOfCeramics.
4. Love these bracelets from my pal, Geeta. Simple, great looking and you could even get two! (One for mom and one for you.): Geometric Leather Cuff by LANGUAGEJewelry.
5. I am dying to try a pair of these sweet and perfect flats from elehandmade. I love the deep indigo color and I bet they are so soft and oh so comfy: Violetta Handmade Oxford Shoes by elehandmade.

1. So adorable, right? This sweet little fox loves having his portrait done. The material and colorway make it sophisticated: Wolf pillow by Colette Bream.
2. Ok, this is my bag. Literally. I had been coveting a bag from Valhalla Brooklyn for ages and recently bought this pretty gal for my everday bag. So soft, so perfectly sized, well made and feels like it has been your bag for ages. A splurge for mom but maybe she has it coming to her?: Willow Bag by Valhalla Brooklyn.
3. Uh, how adorable are these custom made brogues? And that blue? Whew. I am in love. These would be so cute with mom’s shorts, skirts or dresses for spring and summer: Mint Oxford Brogues by goodbyefolk.
4. Abigail Brown is one of my favorite soft sculpture artists. This sweet parakeet would be a beautiful addition to mom’s dresser or bookshelf: Budgerigar by Abigail Brown.
5. Isn’t this a beautiful shade of yellow? Perfect for a summer day or picnic; put on a sparkly top and heels, and it’s beautiful for a night out, too!: Chartreuse skirt by Modaspia.

2. With it’s matte black background, simple lines and beautiful floral rendering. this beautiful piece would add so much to any space: Vintage Vase Print by Britt Hermann.
3. This piece has been one of my favorites for a while … Victorian, brass, unique and beautiful: Victorian Era Brass Flower Bracelet by storyboutique.
4. Helen from Frances & Francis creates paper flower pieces that are just amazing. I don’t know how she achieves such detail. I am definitely going to add one of these beauties to my collection: Rosetta Spring Paper Bouquet by FrancesandFrancis.
5. This is so light and lovely — a beautiful and romantic piece for mom to add to her room or reading corner: Garland Streamers by FleurLux.
