It’s almost a three day weekend here in the States, and I’m off like a dirty shirt. Enjoy the linkage!
- Unfortunate Renaissance babies.
- A smiling shiba inu.
- The Museum of Celebrity Leftovers.
- Cult director (and my personal idol) John Waters is hitchhiking across the United States.
- Victorian fast food included hot eels, pickled whelks, and sheep’s trotters.
- The Underground New York Public Library.
- An online map that calculates travel times in the ancient world.
Organized trash found in nature.
Do you dig mourning jewelry and symbolism? There’s a blog for that.
Modern minimalist fairy tale posters.
Tattoos and the stories behind them.
Rings to make you go “ooh, ooh, ooh.”

Interesting! I especially like the article about Victorian fast food. I don't think I would eat most of the stuff on the list, being a vegetarian and all, but I could go for a potato and some peas I suppose. And the A-Z jewelry was pretty cute and colorful.

I love this artwork. The spoon/forks remind me of a light project a friend of mine built out of spoons. The first step was to drill holes it them, and then there were extras. I ate out of spoons with holes in them for months.

Some people say that the story or meaning behind a tattoo isn't necessary. But if there's no story, then they seem really 1 dimensional. Thanks for linking me to this, I'm both an illustrator and a tattoo artist, so it's a find for sure. :)
