Sweet, sweet summertime. My favorite season is in full swing. These sun-filled days make me long for family vacations, carefree romps in the ocean and throwing together a knapsack for an impromptu road trip with friends. These items are perfect for spending the day in the sun: shiny, sparkly and fun. Porcelain stud earrings are a simple addition to any outfit, especially in a pastel purple that evokes fond memories of harvesting lavender with my husband. And on these long sunny days, you don’t want to be caught without shades. I’m all about this vintage leopard pair.

Hailing from the beaches of Florida, I’m accustomed to running down to the ocean to escape the heat when temperatures jump into the 100s. I will never tire of the nautical trend; I love accessories that present cool and colorful new twists on the classic summer staples.
