I made my first guestbook puzzle for a family member shortly after I taught myself how to cut wooden puzzles. It was a big hit, and as requests became more frequent, I realized that it’s a lot of fun to work with brides and grooms on something that can be at once an heirloom, a form of entertainment for the wedding reception, a guestbook, and a puzzle. The multi-purpose nature of the wedding puzzles and the interactions with my clients keep me interested and enthusiastic.
The custom photo puzzles are those I remember best. I’ve made some with professional engagement photos, some with vintage family photos, and many others that were everything in between.
It’s fun to see the clients’ faces on the work I’m doing.
"Doing custom work with hundreds of brides and grooms has greatly expanded my idea of what is 'possible' with wooden puzzle guestbooks."
"For me, the guest list and guestbook are very interesting parts of the wedding. I’m an amateur family historian, so I’ve thumbed through a few of my ancestors’ old wedding guestbooks looking for names of family and friends. I wish more of my ancestors had preserved these books, but they are often discarded or lost."
"I’ve already figured out most of the technical details and I’m rarely stumped by new ones. Have a custom idea? Bring it!"
Hopefully the special nature of my guestbook alternative will make these puzzles worth saving, and someone will inherit one from their grandmother many years from now. I like to imagine them marveling over the names and well wishes collected on their grandmother’s puzzle.

I love, love, love these puzzles. I am not planning on getting married anytime soon, no guy yet, but this is on my list of things to get. Her work is so cool, the best wedding puzzles on etsy. And the idea to have a 'book' that you will actually look at and use instead of sitting in a deep dark hole is so cool. So glad you were featured.
