A California girl exploring life on the East Coast with her lovable husband and one amazing roof deck. By day she writes about gorgeous, heart palpitating weddings on Style Me Pretty, and at night she can be found spouting commentary on life as she sees it. Erin Ever After is a curated collection of all things fabulous, mixed with a dash of wedding inspiration and other pretty bits and bobbles.

We asked style maven Erin Lepperd of Erin Ever After to share her picks for three destination weddings: a Cape Cod ceremony on the shore, a mountaintop gathering, and an escape to Paris. She’ll have you dreaming of running away to say those vows.

Destination weddings just might be the best invention ever — they marry nuptials and travel, with all of your favorite loved ones in one location. And whether that spot be a beachside soirée, cocktail in hand, or a mountain retreat in the fresh open air surrounded by trees, wedding guests will be talking about it for years to come. So pack those bags, grab your love and head to a wildly romantic locale perfect for saying “I do”.

A ceremony at a little seaside church followed by a Lobster Bake on the New England sand. This is a Cape Cod destination fit for the preppiest of preps with stripes as far as the eye can see.

The perfect seaside shindig starts with the right paper pretties. A sweet, vintage-inspired dress is paired with a classic lace-trimmed veil. The wise words of Phoebe from Friends add a kitschy, fun design element to the reception, where drinks get plenty of pizazz from striped grosgrain flags and navy striped straws. Sweet treats galore stowed away in little muslin bags make a cute sendoff for guests.

A medley of greens and golden yellows make for a lovely mountain fête. Match the bridesmaids to the lush landscape, and choose a wedding gown with layers of chiffon for a decidedly bohemian air (shoes entirely optional), ideally worn with a forest crown. Little wood logs make the perfect table number holders, while monograms as green as the moss underfoot personalize the day in the coolest of ways. If ever there was a time for a faux deer at a wedding, it would be for these forest nuptials. The best part? You can keep it and hang that puppy up in your home after. It’s win-win.

A modern wedding in the most romantic city on the planet — sign me up! This hat was just made to be worn for a destination wedding in Paris — it has chic coming out its eyeballs. An über-romantic wedding gown brings together layers of silk and chiffon, while a little French ring makes a big impact. Clever re-purposed trays are a fabulous take on the chalkboard sign, and can be used to display menus or quotes. The final touch is macaron favors, because, really, what else would you bestow on your guests as a parting gift than these tasty little treats?

Thanks for the fabulous inspiration, Erin!
