This is my second sashiko sampler kit featuring six different patterns from the first kit to add to your stitch collection. Made in the classic combo of blue fabric and white thread this kit gives you a chance to practice your stitching and further explore the world of sashiko patterns. Sashiko is a Japanese technique of functional embroidery originally developed to patch and insulate clothing.

It's doesn't get much easier than this! The patterns are printed right on a canvas fabric, so just follow along the printed lines. The thread covers the lines nicely. No embroidery hoop necessary. That's one of the best parts of sashiko- it's simplicity. All you need is right here (plus some scissors). Perfect for the curious beginner or skilled maker looking for a fun project.

I'm happy to gift wrap and handwrite a gift message on a cute postcard. At checkout you have the option to add gift wrap ($4) and leave a gift message. I carefully wrap your gift in indigo blue tissue paper tied up with red and white twine. Your gift note is then tucked into the twine. It's ready for gifting when you receive it or will impress your recipient if you send directly to them.
