Hey there! Our names are Montanna & Betsey! Betsey is the mama of the business & I, Montanna, am the daughter! We are the mother-daughter duo that created & co-owns Wild Knots Macrame!
I (Montanna) just had a daughter of my own in June 2022, so now we have upgraded to mama & nanny!!

We make recycled cotton string into home decor & accessories that are biodegradable & add the zest of natural elements into your space & lifestyle! We have taken the timeless art of macrame & made it a modern desirable by creating designs & products that are minimalistic, practical, & dainty! Yes yes, “wow, macrame is back”. But we’re making THIS the macrame era by creating products that are suitable to all styles with a soft, simple & minimal approach! Whether you’re a modern day hippie spirit or have a neutral modern home - this is for you!

Where did it all start? At the very beginning. Since I (Montanna) was old enough to hold something in my hands, mom & I would make crafts! Of ALL kinds. Crafting was the number one way we passed time together! When my brother came along, he was born sick, & spending the majority of our young years in & out of the hospital, we passed time making crafts! Mom & I have both always had very creative spirits & crafting feeds ourselves in a way nothing else can! It’s our creative outlet!

We decided to turn crafting into a business after I had a severe car accident & couldn’t work outside of the home. Mom has always been a stay at home mom since 2 of my brothers had significant medical needs & we thought, let’s see if we can find a way to keep us both comfortably at home for the time being, while still helping provide for our families! So we just decided to give it a go! We bought a bunch of string, & started to teach ourselves how to make macrame!
