A divine piece thats very simple but the expression of the subject prompts reflection.
The background seems to be in constant flux and the artist does a nice job of adding depth with the oils.
Viewers are impressed with the use of the wooden panels and gold leaf border. |

This is a very well finished and moving piece.
Society’s mores made me reluctant to dispay this piece, but the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Shelly Dooley has an accomplished ability to convey emotion thru her work. |

I am very pleased with this acquisition.
The work seems to be fluid and alive. This piece has effected me,other timeless paintings seem to reveal themselves upon further gazing, but Mz Dooley's figures and background seem to tell different stories on consecutive viewings. I am drawn to her subject matter and left wondering how the artist new i felt like that |
