I love this photograph. The art historian in me wants to say that the haunting light and blurry colour suggests the danger that the lighthouse is in from the increasing tides. It's a symbol of Georgia's coast and reminds us, with the beautiful composition of the picture, that history is everywhere we choose to preserve it. The light makes me think that it must have been a cool, breezy day.
The friend in me wants to say that I love this and it's awesome and I can't wait to hang it on my wall! |
