I heard about people hoarding food in bulk like rice and flour to ward off the escalating food prices...I nearly had a heart attack today at the store...

I spent 120.00 for four canvas bags of food--some dog and cat food, but mostly healthy fruits and veggies, juice and meat on sale...what can we do to protect our families from this huge jump in food prices...?

I just went to the store the other day and spent the same amount I usually do - only on HALF of the food that I usually get. It is scary...

dig up your back and front yard and plant lots and lots of vegetables...raise your own animals to eat(ok, if it got to that, I'd go vegetarian...I couldnt eat my chickens)

I'm glad I'm boney. When we all have to resort to cannibalism, I won't be first on the menu.
