Hello, Etsians,
How about a group for multimedia makers? I've been chatting with the Etsy team in Brooklyn about this, and I'm very interested in seeing digital musicians and visualists come together to sell and share:
* DIY electronics (instruments, controllers, etc.)
* Customized music hardware
* DIY synths and sensors and stuff (Arduino, custom synths, and so on)
* Limited-run CDs of music, DVDs, unique packaging for custom code -- all the things that make physical, tangible wonderfulness on Etsy but applied to our normally-ephemeral media (music, visuals, code)
Anyone interested? (And anyone want to weigh in on whether this should be separate groups?)
We're working on events here in NYC and possibly elsewhere (I might personally be able to do SF, Austin), so be sure to mention if you're from somewhere you think in-person get-togethers would work, too.
