Hi Guys.. I know that I'm a Seller here. But I'm also a Buyer, and I would love a Simple "Thank you" For your order.
Simple things like this could make me return to your shop. or maybe not.. ~Norma |

Much agreed Norma! I thank all of my buyers! (All 11 of them! LOL) but I have purchased Way more than I have sold, and it is nice to hear from the seller, even just acknowledging your purchase. Otherwise I wonder if they even got my order... |

That's too bad Norma! We just assumed everyone was thanked at least once. We thank our courageous customers the first time when we acknowledge the order has been placed, the second time when we ship it and then again as feedback. One more "thank you" and we'd be dangerously close to a restraining order! Thanks for the advice! -the Mixed Species guys- |

I've been guilty of sending packages without the appropriate thanks and extras. I hit a rough snag in my life and was so worried about not getting packages out in time that I didnt' give them the care they deserved. Things are better but I still feel bad that I didn't give that extra something. |

I like thank each of my buyers personally... all 3 of them. :) I also like it when buyers let me know that the item has arrived safely. |

I agree with the Thank You. I think a simple Thank You is soooo important. I also like to send a confirmation convo that their item has shipped. If I haven't heard from the buyer after ample shipping time I like to follow-up with a convo to make sure they received the piece in perfect condition and are happy with it. I think I've only had two buyer that never respond back. I guess no news is good news...maybe. |

For sellers, I suggest making little thank you cards to include in your shipment. I made mine on my computer, I have 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock that I print out my logo on. I get 6 small gift cards per sheet. And I write a simple thank you inside. I also tuck in no more than two business cards from other shops, no promo overkill!
It's lightweight and a little added something.
I believe there are sellers on etsy who also sell purchase thank you cards. |
