i am about to list a reserve listing and i will allow the person to pay by check..... how can i change my payment method to allow it for this one transaction only? |

I don't think you can change the method for just one listing at a time. You could do one of a couple of things though....first, if you know exactly when the person is going to "buy" it...you can change your accepted payments, list the item, and then as soon as the transaction is complete change the payment method back (this would require coordination with the buyer), or second...have them just select on of you already approved methods and just go ahead and send you the check. From the Etsy perspective the transaction is complete. |

Understanding how this option actually works now, I would have to agree with Cogans' second option -- just tell them to select any payment option in the listing, but go ahead and send you the check (be sure they have your mailing address!). |

Thistle--in v1 the payment profiles were for each item, it changed with v2.
CogansCreations is right on the money--I'd just tell them to pick any option and pay me the privately agreed upon way. |
