| EtsyTools - the answer to your ideas? |
|
EtsyTools says: |
There's a few questions that always get asked in this forum. When is the best time to list? Who are the top sellers? How many item sell vs. items listed?
We are two etsy sellers who have created a website with up to date stats on sales, listings, and sellers. We use Etsy's API (which they have said on the blog they want developers to build on) to graph the information which feeds into the Time Machine, the old Sampler, and soon also the Geolocator.

We hope you like it. (Posted in ideas forum because we used a lot of your ideas from here)

The number on the horizontal access is the hour in etsy time. On the first graph you can see 14 hours into the past, and what the next 10 hours are expected to be like based on yesterday. It is 24 hour time. Does that make sense? |

The stats are XML feeds constantly fueling the Time Machine and other stuff here on the site. I'm not the brains of the operation, just the good looks, so I cant tell you more unfortunately :S |

was this done by users only or are some admin involved? i think your idea is great, but i think having a username here on etsy with the name "etsy" in it might be confusing - as soon as i saw the username, i assumed it was a new admin / admin team. then i realized there wasn't the little admin name under it. not trying to rain on anyone's parade, just trying to bring a point that i am sure other will address. |
