| ACEO artists lets have a discussion on what sells here at etsy |

I am new to the ACEO market. I make mixed media collage cards and cards of my photography. I was just wondering what those of you who have been selling these for a while here at etsy think about the market. What sells? subjects? medias? prices? Does it ever lead someone to purchase a larger piece of art from you?
Thanks for taking the time to comment, I am going to try to keep this thread going for a couple of days. |

I'm sporadically working on an ACEO series but have not listed anything yet. I know there are many successful ACEO sellers and collectors here...I'm also interested to see what others have to say. |

I mostly use acrylics for my ACEOs, but sometimes watercolor or collage. I have even done some scratchboard. I sell them for $8 and have sold quite a few. My subjects vary, I just paint what I feel like be it Martians, animals or abstract. :) |

I am trying to figure out the market, too. I love making collages, all sizes, scarves, paintings, etc. I would like to know who buys ATC's..other ATC artists, collectors? |

Being an awkward sort of person, I make what I choose to make... most, but not all of my ACEOs are paintings, some are collage, some photographs... but they are my work in miniature, almost all abstract. I think the collage possibly sells better... but I've only been here since sept last year, so my thoughts may not be worth much... marion |

i have just now begun to list my aceo cards i have sold one, another shop i know of sold bunches mainly to people that collect abstract. my openion is you put them out there and take your chances. it could be if they like your style of art say on the cards they might come back and buy a bigger piece.what i know for sure is you can't really know. |

I have sold a few ACEO's... i do them in watercolour. I think people like them because my normal prints etc are coloured in Photoshop. When they are translated into watercolour they have a really earthy special feel. |

I just started listing ACEOs. I have watercolor and acrylics, some abstract and some not. It is fun to create in miniature. I would love to hear from others! |
