Alright, it's official--what started as a promo thread (http://www.etsy.com/forums_thread.php?thread_id=5644163) has become a real live team, and this will be our new spot on etsy to talk about it.
I'm figuring we can use this thread to:
ask questions
give ideas
discuss new lenses
and anything else you all can think of.
Our team name was changed for some reason on the teams page to SquidEtsy, and they only have the names on there that had expressed interest when I sent the initial team formation email, so please check it out and let me know if you're not on there but want to be/should be. It's viewable at http://team.etsy.com/viewteam.php?id=326
The two other essential links for team activities and discussion are to the SquidEtsians lens (http://www.squidoo.com/squidetsians)and squidoo group page (http://www.squidoo.com/groups/squid-etsians). The lens's goal is more narrow: it's the space to post links to your etsy shop and SquidEtsians-related lenses; the group space is broader: there you can link to any of your lenses, regardless of subject, get general squidoo ideas and advice, etc.

o.m.--I'll probably wait a day or so before sending another email to etsy asking them to update, so I can include as many people as possible at once (it usually takes them a couple days to get to the emails and right now that's the only way to add people), but you will definitely be on the list when the email goes out!
cchio--should i be adding laurli as well? I noticed she was added on the squidetsian group page. |

oh also cchio--you may get a notice from etsy teams in a few days inviting you to join the etsy google group for team leaders--they sent it to me and i asked them to send it to you as well. |

yes, i do, and i accept affiliate sales so if your lens sends anyone my way who makes a purchase you'll get a percentage. i'm debating whether or not ot get rid of it though--it costs 18 dollars every 3 months and I've had it about 9 months with only one sale, whereas I've only been here a couple weeks and already had one sale and one trade. Suggestions are welcome. Anyway, the cafepress id is the same as my one here--purrprints (cafepress.com/purrprints).
