Hello Etsians,
We have two friendly reminders for you about important things happening next week on Etsy.
Policy grace period coming to a close.
Last month, we announced an update to our site policies in the DOs & DON'Ts and Terms of Use. We provided a grace period of seven weeks for everyone to comply with the new policies. My-oh-my, how time flies! Next Monday, June 30, 2008 (at the end of the day, midnight EDT) marks the end of that grace period. Please take some time to review the policies again and make any necessary last-minute changes. (The previous announcement article from May highlights the most important updates to our policies.)
Feedback expiration is on the horizon.
Another big thing happening next week is that Feedback expiration will go into effect. As of Tuesday, July 1, 2008, the ability to leave Feedback will automatically expire 90 days after the transaction date. When we activate this feature, all your pending Feedback that is 90+ days old will disappear. If you intend to leave Feedback for those past transactions, please do so as soon as possible! Expiration of old pending Feedback is a feature many members have requested, and we are pleased grant this wish. We chose 90 days as a generous time frame to accommodate concerns about shipping time, gift-giving and custom orders. This was first announced in May's policy update article. For more information on how Feedback works, please check out the Feedback Help Guide.

Thanks for the reminder stella.
I asked back on page 4 whether (from tomorrow onward, I guess) listings awaiting feedback will keep a running 'countdown' to the expiration (in days, that is), or whether there will be a red-letter reminder when the exiration is getting close? Any idea?
Also, as per the new disclosure requirements for collaborative shops, will the profile set-up template be dropping the "(everything is optional)" phrase at the top of the page? Otherwise, Folks may not realize that a bit of explanatory info is actually required.
Thanks again!

An red letter fb expiration date next to each transaction would be great...

I have a question. Since the makeup brush/or not issue is still up in the air, are we to follow the do's and dont's (the brushes are "free with purchase" item), what HeyMichelle said "embellish them or put them in a kit so long as the majority of the kit is makeup and not the brush), or can we just list them separately under supplies?

I tried to reread it all. But men, it's a lot of reading...
