Because A. I still see it months later
B. I am not an employee of etsy but rather a user
that is paying etsy to list items and a
commission on my sold items.
C. As a seller I am etsy's customer. In a brick
and mortar I wouldn't ask my customers to
grab a broom and give my shop a little sweep.
Rant done.

yep..in all the times I've flagged things I've never seen anything done about it. why am i bothering? it's nice to get the "we're looking into it" email, but it's not that convincing.

But don't you think that you have a choice to go into a B&M shop if it is dirty or not - you would prefer that it was clean.... Don't you think that ETSY should be clean also... If you have a tool that only takes a few taps of the computer keyboard to clean up a shop wouldn't you do it...
I know I would....

I've flagged so many items and nothing ever seems to get done about them.

nelly, I am a customer too and it's not my job. It's my job to tend to my own shop.

who's in charge of investigating the flagged items anyways? i'm curious how full that flagged inbox is.

I flagged something that shouldn't be allowed (they were essentially offering blatantly illegal drugs) and it was gone about 1.5 days later. So, I guess someone does look through the flagged items occassionally.
