I just sat and refreshed like a mad woman to try and get a co-op add. Anyone manage to snag one? Somehow by the time it showed up for me it was already sold out. Bummer- I could have been doing something productive with my afternoon. Ok, maybe not, but still... ;) |

I spent my morning having a plumber snake my kitchen sink (after spending many hours last night trying to do it myself). I was paranoid that it was from me scrubbing metal in the sink -- but $130 later, I found out it wasn't my fault :) It was grease in the line, 15 feet down (like I could have ever fixed it, what was I thinking?!?) -- I never ever ever even remotely put grease near a drain, I don't even cook with grease. Hell, I barely cook. Dan thinks it was from the previous owners. I swear, they must have all been morons, the problems I've inherited are unreal...
(wow, sorry to sound so crabby! Things are quite happy sunny shiny back to normal now, honest :) ) |

Copper, I relate. Some of those crazy previous owner things just don't show up in the inspection. Like wiring 2000+ watts worth of lights through a 650-watt dimmer switch. Just sayin'. |
