Ok, so this is on my mind right now so I'll type then go back and catch up in the thread.

By no means is this a complaint but I'm starting to get wierded out! I have been getting consistant sales for the past week and seriously all of them have been from OHIO. More specifically, the majority are from Shaker Heights OH! Do you think this could be the residuals from the PD add??

Could be...many of my recent sales are from the Cleveland area too...
why not ask your customers how they found you?
And congrats!

I need guidance! My daughter's elementary school is having a craft show on the 18th. Table is $15. We are supposed to only vend things $5 and under. SO I was going to take my $5 soaps only. Only thing is I am afraid of a kid wanting a bar of soap so badly and only having $1 and looking at me with those puppy eyes that kids get. And me saying no, lol. Then again I could really clean up with the teachers probably.

So I am unsure of whether I want to do it or not.

I get a lot of orders locally, then again my truck has a 3" decal on the back window that has my website and etsy address on it, and I go downtown everyday for school. SO lots of free publicity.

I bet it could be, LEBG.

I do think I am going to start asking how customers found me. Since Thanksgiving, I have had 11 sales to people in the UK - all different areas of the country. That astounds me.

Mary-Vintage, So happy your open house got you some custom orders! :0)

You're so smart Stonz!;0) Good idea and don't know why I didn't think of it before. duh for me!

Ha ha ha ha! Do you know what would happen if I put my url on the back of my vehicle!? Women would be following me to my secret beaches and it would probably get vandilized by the rampant numbers of beach glassers here in my area!

Speaking of international sales, I think the most interesting place I've sent something is to Penguin,Tasmania!!!

Hello, fellow artists!

A safe, healthy and happy 2009 to all of you! Good to hear that many of you had great sales in 2008. I am still struggling for my first etsy sale. Time to concentrate on updating my store.
If you have any tips or advice, please pass them along! I'd appreciate all the help I can get.
Looking forward to meeting some of you at the January get together!

Mary
