| Do you have any business resolutions/goals for 2009? |

Anyone else out there thinking about the changing year as an opportunity to think about your business and changes you'd like to make? Or are you feeling like you have found "your groove" and you'll just keep up what you've been doing because it's working for you fine?
I'm curious to hear what other people are thinking about where they want to take their business in 2009. Here are a few things I've been thinking about.
* Do more live shows.
* Fine tune over all business plan, especially web presence.
* Take paintings to a new level - series of BIG canvases as part of gallery collection.
* Only purchase supplies that sell! (aka no more staples on sides of canvas, gallery wrapped only!)
* Expand lower price point products with more print production to include framing and greeting cards.
* "Don't put all of your eggs in one basket" is too scattered for my taste. Use other sites as a directional tool back to main sites rather than trying to offer anything for sale on tons of other sites.
* Fine tune website (that's always on the list)
There's more but I'll spare you the gory details. I'd love to hear what other people are thinking along these lines. |

To stop listening to every other person.... I will either sell or I will close next year. Too many people have too many opinions and so far.....zip, zero, nada! I will start making what I like and photo the way I think it should be and.....we will see |

I haven't really thought about it much yet. Been busy. But I do know that next year I'd just like to do even better than I did this year!
Great goals you have... I need to sit down and write some out for myself! |

Personally, I would like to expand my offerings to include a more diverse variety of products, figure out a quality way to market, and get more organized at home. |

---- Yeah baby! That's the answer! I have definitely felt this way in the past and it's so true to just say look - I've got to do this my way or it just won't work.
*breaks into "I did it myyyy waayyyy"* |

Grow grow grow! Offer more products and use my illustrations more, next to the pottery. Do more custom orders :)

Organized at home - DING!
I need to add that to my own list. Both storing artwork and shipping supplies. |

I'm so new at this, so my list is pretty big and scattered. Some top priorities are making a lot more stuff to fill up the shop, learning and applying promotion ideas, and joining the artsinRI street team. |
