I just cancelled my subscription to ArtFire because......

It takes forever to download a new listing.

It doesn't have a button to click when you want to change your banner.

It's too lengthy when you list a new item, everything is one page and it's very confusing.

The only time you are on the front page is when you list a new item.

As far as showing everyone's items at random, they will never make it fair for everyone, there are just too many items to do that.

They are still at the 2,000 and have 3,000 to go for sign-ups, this doesn't seem to be changing, don't know if they will reach the 5,000 mark anytime soon.

Very frustrated with their set-up.

I tried the free membership and I listed only a couple of things. I figured it's free, what would it hurt? But I hardly go back into check because of the low number of views. And when I do decide to browse a little, I have yet to see a sale for anyone! Has anyone had any success in there?

They have a good idea, and over time I think they will be the next "hot" spot to sell. But I haven't had any luck there, so I've stopped selling there. I'm going to wait 6 months and see were they're at?

Are you kidding? ArtFire is the prototype of what Etsy wishes it could be, and the basis upon which Etsy makes all it's decisions and changes here on Etsy, according to some.

I don't think I'm gonna get an artfire account. I dont think the layout is as clean as Etsy's and as I dont spend $7 a month on etsy, it's silly for me to spend it on artfire.

One more thing;
They do have some features that we wished were here at etsy. Makes you wonder what's etsy's problem?

I made 2 sales on Artfire yesterday. I like the listing process much better there than here on etsy.

I, too, have had low views there, but I'm hanging in for now just to see if it takes off sometime down the road. They're still in their infancy stage and need to work out some kinks and bugs. But for 7 bucks a month and no need to renew every day, I'm willing to hang in there for a while.

I find it a bit confusing, and I am fairly technologically savvy.
