| 4 Simple Steps to Improve your Sales and gain Exposure |

In each Etsy shop you will find a merchant or team promoting their products in an effort to make a sale. Forums provide not only a voice for each shop, but also an opportunity to share with Etsy visitors and fellow merchants a great variety of hand crafted objects, participate in peer support, and gain a wealth of knowledge along the way. Plus it’s fun!
For improved exposure to your shop, follow these 4 simple steps:
Step 1 ) Keep this forum alive
Step 2 ) Chat with the others who post and take a good look at their shops. Instead of pushing your own merchandise, post something that you like from their shop. Mikiep would call this the first step to better KARMA. You may also think of this as Paying It Forward.
Step 3 ) Don't be a Sally Drop & Run. It is quick and easy to drop a single post on a thread and run, but You are likely to be ignored. Instead, spend a few minutes encouraging other shops, they will return the favor. This step is the second step to better KARMA.
Step 4 ) Post often and at various (perhaps odd) times of the day. Posting at night is a great way to meet all the super rad people from different places in the world.
Success on Etsy, as with so many other things in life, takes a combination of patience & persistence. Plus, friends don’t hurt!
