| ETSY, Please *Remove* the 'Handmade' Meta Tag from Vintage |

it's hurting your sellers here who do not sell handmade. 99% of vintage is *not* handmade and your insertion of handmade into the metatags of our shops is hurting our ranking in google, as it's not a relevant keyword.
few people are going to search on 'handmade vintage dress [or whatever vintage thing they're searching for]'.
same for commercial supplies. there are artists who feel the same way.
this isn't a one-size fit all thing.
i understand you want to boost the site's ranking for handmade, but it can't be at the expense of your sellers here who do not sell handmade.
for those who don't know about this yet, etsy has been inserting the word 'handmade' in front of all of our sections and using that for the meta tags google (and other search engines) use.
so mine, for example, say this:
<meta name="keywords" content="handmade vintage dresses, handmade vintage jackets coats, handmade vintage suits, handmade vintage sweaters tops, handmade vintage skirts pants, handmade vintage lingerie, handmade vintage shoes, handmade vintage accessories, handmade gift certificates">
etsy, you know i loves ya, but this needs to be fixed asap. sales are tough enough as it is.
