I Love doing Craft Fairs!! You get to meet some great people and your product is really out there! I would start by looking in your Local area where you live.
There is also festivalnet.com/ and www.craftlister.com/ they both show you coming up events!

I love doing shows because you get a lot of good feedback on your work & get to meet customers face to face. I would start out finding a small local show to try first, the larger shows can get expensive plus the cost of travel. You can get some great display ideas from flickr. Just do a search for "craft show booth" in the group search box. Depending on the type of show you do you may or may not need a tent. I always use one, but all of my shows are outdoor so I like having it in case of less than lovely weather. I bought an E-Z Up tent from another artist years ago, but I believe you can also buy them at the warehouse stores like Sam's Club & Cosco. For displaying, I use metal panels (again, bought from another artist), a table, and pedestals built by my husband at very little cost. You can check bulletin boards at local art centers for good deals on used tents, displays, etc. If you find a good indoor show, you can forgo a large display and make a table or two work. Good luck!
