Hello fellow Etsians! :)
I have restarted the Etsy Traveling Art journal.
As you may remember, this was a project originally started by Stellaloella and myself about 2 years ago.
It has since (as of this weekend) been resurrected :D
I have emailed all of the original participants and have received a great response. If you were a participant in the original project and have *not* gotten an email from me, please convo me and I will put you back on the list :)
I have also sent out emails to the artists that wanted to participate but we didn't have room for.
That being said, if you don't fall into either group and you would like to participate, please email me at EtsyJournal [!at] gmail.com
Also, the Yahoo Group EtsyJournal has been ressurected. I have put several spam-blockers in effect to keep the bot postings to a minimum. If you have unsubscribed from the group, please feel free to rejoin :D We'd love to have you.
I will be posting all of this to our Blog(EtsyJournal) just as soon as I have a minute :)
I look forward to getting this project started up again! |

I am happy to donate a tiny format journal as I make miniature books with handmade paper..about 30 pages total..lemme know if you are interested in this format! |

Well, we haven't decided anything yet.... And I want to put it up to a vote.
We could either donate the finished books to Etsy or we could publish. Or we can do both :)
We could make items (mousepades, posters, tee shirts, etc) from the images.
There are many options and I want to make it a group decision :) I am only here to facilitate! :D |

Spitfaced, that is correct.
The book gets sent to the first person on the list. They do their spread on the first 2 pages (they will all be numbered and each participant will get an email with the book & page numbers they will be in)
When the first person completes their art piece, they email me and I let them know where to send the book next. And so on and so on.
When the last artist in the book completes their piece, the book comes back to me for scanning.
Hopefully, by then, we will have decided on publishing and whether or not we want merchandise, etc :D
Also, both of you need to email me with your name, mailing address and etsy name. I will add you to the master list and assign you a book :D |
