| Anyone Interested In Organizing Our Own Site Wide Black Friday Sale? |

I can't participate in the Etsy sponsered Black Friday free shipping promotion, and neither can a lot of other shops.
So, I'm thinking, maybe we could come up with some sort of site wide promotion amongst ourselves?
If enough people sign up for it, blog, twitter, Facebook, etc, we just might be able to pull together something big.
Is this something anyone would be interested in trying?

In the UK a "Black" day is something really, really very bad.
Like a day when the Stock Exchange crashed or the currency was vastly de-valued. Seeing "Black" precede a day strikes fear into us. |

I just don't think having a sale is really that effective. Does anyone have stats on this? A sale assumes lots of people already want what you have and know about you, but need to be tempted with a low price. Most of the problem here is just that people don't know about us or want what we have. |
