Come and discuss techniques, tips, products, ask questions and chat with other Etsy artists. Generally, there will be a member of the Melange artists street team to answer any questions. Since our artists actually work in lots of different mediums and most are full time professionals, there is lots of good information to be gleaned here.

Nancy gives us a "hint" on Mondays, and the challenge officially begins on Wednesday, running for two weeks as of now. You make a piece in any style, size and format you chose based on your interpretation of the given prompt. When your piece is completed and posted (and this can be where ever you chose: Etsy, your blog, Flickr, etc.) you go on over to the Team Blog post on it (which Nancy will post this Wednesday and link to here from this thread) and leave a comment with a hot link to your post with your work. Yes, please link back to the Melange Blog from your piece, but only tag Melange Team if you post for work for sale here at Etsy and you are a team member. At this time there are no prizes for the challenges, but instead it is a means to flex your creative muscles and perhaps push yourself out of your normal comfort zone, plus get lots of great feedback on your work.
Also, I'd note to all our visitors that this is NOT a team only event. We welcome anyone and everyone to take part in the bi-weekly challenges. Please do join us!
